Fourth Summer Course for Top English Language Teachers 2017

TEACHERS HELPING TEACHERS

In the last V Facebook Event that took place last December 5th we collected toys and clothes from the participants who attended the event to help a teacher of English, Sylvia, from a very needed village in the outskirts of Lima.

 

She devotes most of her time and her meager salary to support a shelter for strayed dogs. She relies on the help of the neighbouring families who-in spite of having very little- are always willing to help.

 

Customized Training Services created this iniatitve because kindness and generosity are values we always talk about with our students and wanted them to see by themselves how easy it is to help even if you think you have nothing.

 

This video is of the day we gave all the donations away in the shelter whose name is Allco Wasi, which in quechua, the ancient language of the inhabitants of Peru, means The House of Dogs.

Many teachers who begin teaching find themselves busy trying to survive and cover the syllabus. Many times-especially when they teach children- they focus on the subject matter, the methods and keeping the children quiet.

Fortunately, teachers gradually understand the importance of observing what children do and talking to them to understand the children's amazing capacity for learning and their multiple abilities.

Doing the preparation course for TKT Young Learners will help teachers of children examine their own teaching and their beliefs. It provides insights into the special characteristics, abilities and attitudes children bring to the classroom and will definitely improve their teaching practice besides providing them with an international certificate from Cambridge University.

The Second Summer Course for Top English Language Teachers has finished and I am really happy to tell you how proud I feel of the participants and how hard they have worked during the face-to-face and online sessions to use the tips they had exchanged in class. Teaching Children

Teaching children implies recognizing the physical, emotional and cognitive needs of the students. This is why it is OK to recognize that from time to time they feel their brains are tired and need a change of activity "to give their brains a rest" but also they should be contented since it also means they have worked hard.
