Use of English Review Courses
In Customized Training Services we believe teachers of English need to be knowledgable in both knowing the language we teach as well as learning how to teach it whether it is face-to-face or online.
The aim of these review courses is to refresh some Use of English issues at different levels addressing each participant´s weaknesses in personalized tutoring sessions. We are sure you will find them useful.

Summary of VII Summer Blended learning Course
Dear CTS friends and family
We are going through
difficult times where reaching the end of the tunnel is everybody´s
responsibility so we need to abide by the rules and stay home.
In these times of
lockdown, we teachers have even more responsibilities than before since we are
expected to help our students learn in a virtual context they are not so
familiar with because they use it more for entertainment and pleasure.
We need to prepare online
teaching material that is – of course- different from the material we use for
face-to-face lessons and we also need to use platforms and tools we are not so
familiar with and with little time to master their use.
We know that little by
little we will gain more skills at doing this and will manage to reduce
preparation time while mastering the use of the Internet tools. It is at times
like this when approaches such as Gamification , Flipped Learning, ICT and Web
tools can help us pass on knowledge,
consolidate or even assess it.
At CTS we feel we have
contributed to support our teachers by having
chosen the above approaches as modules for our last summer course both in its
face-to-face as well as online modality.
We are committed to keeping on
offering practical courses and workshops (online modality) about tools and
strategies for online context not only for teachers of English but for teachers
of any subject. Thus, we can help our teachers in their virtual teaching
practice until the time comes for meeting our students face to face without any
health risk.
Please keep posted, we are
working hard to support you and meanwhile take care and stay home.

International Teacher Development Conference
UDEP International Development Conference
I really like to exchange ideas with colleagues about different issues related to improving our effectiveness at making students learn how to learn. It is refreshing to know that there are many of us on the same page and that we care enough to invest time in improving our abilities to support learning.

Public policy of English teaching in Peru expects students to end their school training with a B1 level of proficiency and that teachers of English demonstrate a B2 level, at least. How can we make this possible? One way is for teachers to train to obtain the B2:First (formerly known as FCE) Certificate from Cambridge Assessment.
Towards this end, Customized Training Services has designed a blended course to help our colleagues obtain this Certification with the quality, support and care of all the courses we have launched along these years.
We know how to help you improve your teaching career. Contact us at the numbers and mail addresses provided below, we will be very pleased to hear from you.

XIV CTS Academic Facebook Event
On February 17th we ran our XIV CTS Academic Facebook event on Back to School: What to do the First Day of Classes. Along the workshops we invited some of the teachers to try some of the ideas presented in the event and share their experience with us.... and so they did. It is absolutely rewarding to know that CTS helps colleagues introduce variety in their teaching practice.
You can see some of the highlights of the event below:

Teaching is probably one of the most rewarding jobs although it may be the least well rewarded in terms of money in many countries.
In spite of that I am really happy to be a teacher and so today I need to thank my teachers for helping me to become who I am, I thank my fellow teachers for supporting and helping me to improve as a teacher. Last but not least, I am grateful to my students for teaching me how important it is to learn in order to teach.
